Campanella moves to the fire escape with swift steps. He does not dare turn to look back.
Assuming that he and Hamia are able to reach the fire escape, Campanella will exit the building. If he can catch up with Vauban, he'll assist the wounded Libertine on the descent.

As the Magi run from the scene, a massive pillar of smoke can be seen rising behind them, and that evening, all of the local news services are abuzz with the tragedy of the Cortez. It seems that shoddy craftsmanship, and corrupt building officials, lead to the immolation of the hotel, and over thirty people lost their lives. A tragedy, to be sure, and one that was swiftly answered with an investigation into the contractors and officials that let such a travesty happened.
