(PrP) A Beastly Ending

[Hector]

The sun clings doggedly to the sky as the afternoon wanes into evening. The year is growing to fullness now and the day lingers longer as spring ripens into summer.

The pack gather once more behind the rail workshops where piles of moved dirt and refuse still provide cover. The landscape is changing, becoming ever more urban. They might not be able to do this so openly in the future. For now, Hector appears not to care: he's got a 'new' coat from somewhere and is playing with the collar.

His feral eyes fasten across the broken ground to where the city grows.

This should be the last thread of The Beast PrP arc. I'll leave it open as to how you wish to proceed and track down the remaining young 'shape shifter'. If you can think of skill checks or merits that may help, do so in your posting

[Viola Jones]

There's a skip in Viola's step as she makes her way to the yards. Her blood it up and her grin is frightening. They were finally gonna hunt down that cat freak bitch and deal with her.

A little ambiguous, but the Rahu hoped that meant they were going to make her dead. Like all kinds of dead. So dead she didn't even know if she used to be alive dead.

Bitch killed in their territory, then ran as they tried to make it right.

It wouldn't stand.

Silently Viola bares her throat to her Alpha and wait for the rest of the pack to her there asses here. All the while vibrating in her violent delight.

[Tristan Hardt]

There's perks to holding a certain position with the herd's law enforcement. Namely, access to information regarding recent crimes. The girl who'd been a cat? She's gone. But any cop worth his salt would keep an eye on the surviving girl after a case like that. That's what Tristan's counting on.


Alongside the rest of the pack, Tristan pulls out his phone and calls the station. Maybe they can tip him off on the survivor's last known whereabouts.

Tristan is carrying his cell phone, badge, and gun. And attempting to use his Sworn Officer merit in conjunction with Status (Emergency Services) 2 to gain useful information about the girl

The wraps stay at home. It feels dirty to bring them to hunt a human who has transgressed as this girl has. Those wraps were made to help a wolf stay hidden from the people who don't see the true monsters in the dark, this girl, she's not one of them anymore. Chris moves with purpose as he strides to the pack. A nod and tilt of his head to the Alpha.

The Irraka is wearing his dedicated pants which hold his phone, wallet, and keys. Other than that a pair of old gym shoes and an old polo shirt. Perfect clothes to get dirtied..or bloodied. Hands slide into pockets as the Talon nods to Tristan and Viola, a grin slipping onto Chris's face as he sees Viola's hype.

[Hector]

Hector smiled a thin smile that conveyed both hunger, a hint of threat, and a curiously loving joy. He surveyed his pack as they assembled.

"Right then, cloaks are dealt with. So we hunt. One of these... women... shape shifters is already dead. That leaves one. You say she is a student."

He tilted his head, eyes feverish bright.

"She'll be just one among the Herd. Thats a lot of Herd out there. We have to find her, draw her away or single her out. Then we find a private place to do what must be done. Don't mean we have to kill. But we do have to finish this. So... Ideas?"

He turns his gaze to Tristan.

Tristan Hardt Travisc06489 will need to roll Manipulation + Persuasion or Politics or Streetwise + Status to gain meaningful information for the hunt.

[Viola Jones]

The rest of the pack arrives and Hector's smile is the reason why she knows he's fucking crazy.

"Tristan got a taste of her blood. He takes point, and were set." Viola gets out, probably out of turn, but fuck it. She was excited. Sue her.

Fun fact. Saskia likes clubbing. None of Tristan's brother officers have had much contact with her, but she has been noted in the nightlife precincts.

"Getting her out of the herd may be a problem but there's always ways make it happen." A good howl in the wrong place could cause all sorts of problems. "Blood is good." A nod with that contagious grin.

Tristan claps the phone shut. He chews his tongue a bit before speaking again. First to Hector. "The girl... Saskia. She's into the night life. Clubs, mostly. She was with some college buddies on the way to 'Electric Fairyland' when the driver got a ticket. Good place to start, right?"

A nod follows Chris' suggestion. Then a less-than-proud correction. "I've had the dead one's blood. The one that got all torn up and was both in her room and at the railyards. Other one's a fresh target." It's a souring revelation, but better to be honest about it with them. ​"We'll catch her anyway. It's what we do."
