Taft returns Twist's smile with a thin-lipped one of his own. Priscus now, is it? An interesting turn. One that he could ply for use later on. But for now?
"Of course. Let's get you properly inducted."
Taft and Izayoi Goto continue here.
Mable knew it was getting late but she wanted to at least check into court. She scrubbed her face and hands using the hose. Then locked the shed door. She combed her hair with her fingers and brushed off the soil from her jeans. She then quickly drove to court. No fancy dress tonight. She at least had on high-heeled boots she found in her car along with a baby blue tunic top that was flowy and pretty.
In she went to the court of the night. She stood in the doorway like usual and waited for the beast to calm. The film of red in front of her eyes took a little longer to clear. Once things settled for her she entered.
Seeking out her Prince she gave Ale a nod and smile.
All seems quiet as the Mekhet 'Priscus' rejoins the fray. The evening is drawing late. It seems also that the evening isn't done drawing Kindred. The latest to show rears her head and the Beast within her breast hits Taft like a scream. Unpleasant. And unfortunate. Still, once he quiets the fear in his own breast he offers her a greeting as she passes by.
"Glad you could join us. Pricsus Wood, was it?" He doesn't press for more than a greeting, though. She looks like she has places to be.
Mable pauses mid-step and gives the Mekhet a pretty smile as she struggles to remember his name. Once she remembers she offers him a sweet greeting in return, "Good evening, Mr. Taft. I hope all is well with you?"
"Never better. And, apparently, it's Priscus Taft now. Going somewhere in a hurry? Dawn is coming." he responds, smiling thinly. No harm in a little banter before the evening ends.
Mable gave a smile that went to her eyes, "Congrats, Priscus Taft." She chuckled, "Going no where fast. Are you enjoying the city?"
