He turned away, determinedly examining the stacks.

There's nothing supernatural about the carefully oldered shelves. Some dusty old books, mostly art history tomes on the Old Masters. The tomes are in a remarkable condition for their age; the collection seems to be exhaustive.

Epitaph wanted to sigh again. She had been hoping the great Campanella, builder of the Sacramento Athaneum, would have been of a more open mind, or at least more willing to debate. Though, perhaps she had simply pressed too quickly, and this was merely the reaction that came from shock, his subconscious rearing against the realization that her words resonated with a truth that had been buried there.

"Yes, Heresy," Epitaph repeated mildly, feigning interest in the shelves, curious what topic of conversation Campanella would choose next.

The silence grew long and awkward.

When he spoke again, the Moros was speaking of books and authors and more mundane subjects (which still touched upon their world). It was clear he was done debating for the moment.

Great scene . However I note that this has gone on for a month now. We should get it into continuity.

The lights go up and a large matronly woman with a duster in hand and a friendly face appears from behind a bookshelf. The illuminated store seems to be in the early stages of a renovation project, in the upper floor, bookshelves are being tended by some members of the staff, in the distance what looks like a replica of a roman statue. All around what seem to be glass tanks, their purpose is left unknown.

She checks the impeccably groomed man appreciatively. As for the dark lady, the woman stares at her wide-eyed, startled, her thumb tracing a cross over her lips.
"The store is closing for a few days, please come back next week, and thanks for coming!" She ushers both of you from the front door rather abruptly; back to the street and its aroma of coffee.
