"Asked myself the same thing." he says, frowning. "This isn't my area of expertise." He can only imagine how she'd take that. She probably expects a Bone Shadow to be a a walking library for mystical nonsense. Rubbing at his jaw and looking none-too-certain, he finally nods. "Worth asking. If Hector doesn't know, it's gonna be a big bloody mess trying to track them all down."
But they had that, didn't they? He could, at least, track the creatures wherever they go. He'd tasted its blood... and wearing his Urhan form he could probably track the thing through a filthy truck stop.
"There's is a lead I should follow up on: the lady performing that botched ritual. If she survived her trip to the hospital, anyway." Tristan fishes out his phone."One way to find out..." he says, as much thinking aloud as for Viola's benefit. He punches in the number to the local station. "This is officer Hardt. I need to follow up on that mess from [address]. Did the victim make it to the hospital?"
