Aesop is somewhat confused by what his senses tell him. They lead him to some dark corners, where amorous activities are going on, and to places on the dance floor where some of the dancing is just a hair shy of the sort usually done horizontally, but a lot of what he senses seems to be in the air itself.
Nowhere does the Predator's Taint reveal the presence of any kindred other than his own companions.
Eleanor's examinations are somewhat more revealing. Looking at some of the dancers who seemed to give off strange signals earlier, she notices that their auras are predominantly the deep red of lust and desire, which is not surprising. What's more surprising is that their auras are surprisingly weak and muted. In some cases, though, she notices something that might explain this.
Several of these people radiate two auras, one superimposed on the other. The superimposed auras are exceptionally vivid. Most are a pure, deep red, but one is composed of alternating, vibrant bands of deep red and dark green. Furthermore, these auras, superimposed over the muted ones, are much more vivid than those of a human. To Eleanor, it's as if the specific emotions she notices in those auras aren't just the primary ones, but the only ones.
She sees this same sort of vividness and pureness of emotional state in the auras of the ephemeral creatures she sights floating above the dance floor. The pulsing masses radiate so intense an aura of deep red desire that Eleanor notices the Blush of Life starting to come upon her unbidden, as if her awareness of these creatures causes her to respond to their emotional state. Meanwhile, the more humanoid of these entities radiate a mix of lustful deep red and the fiery-bright red of anger. In each case, the strength and vibrancy and purity of these auras is such that they appear to have no emotions othe than - and, indeed, to be composed of nothing but - the ones she sees in their auras.
Eleanor's Arcane Sight notices a magical energy permeating the entirety of Club Inferno. This enegy - predominantly deep red but occasionally including streaks of the deep green of envy or the red of anger - clearly emnates in part from the entities floating above the dance floor, but when she takes a glance toward the upper level of Club Inferno, she notices it is much stronger there, stronger than the individual auras of any of the entities she sees.
She also notices this energy permeating many of the patrons of the club. She sees it coloring her image of two lovers coupling in a dark corner near the dance floor, and in the eyes of a table of men just off the dance floor gazing upon one of the painted devil girls in the cages. She can a magical energy sinking into these humans, and lust desire in them.
Putting all this together - auras of an emotional intensity alien to human beings superimposed atop those of humans in some cases and permeating and influencing them in others, ephemeral creatures apparently composed of nothing but desire and envy and lust - she concludes that she is observing spiritual entities of some sort, personifications of vice, capable of influencing and completely overwhelming the will of humans - taking possession of them, to all appearances.
Given this, it is hard for her to conceive of these entities as anything other than demonic.
