Campanella takes a step back and moves to one side, watching the struggling Obrimos critically. From the glare, one might of thought he practiced the Evil Eye.
No such luck.
The Moros was watching, waiting for his spells to take effect; for the air to run out; for his sparring partner to fall. He was too much of a gentleman to stick the boot in now; more concerned that his workings might kill if the situation was not monitored.
So he did nothing.
Campanella is delaying his action.

The lack of air prevented th Obrimos from wasting the precious air in his lungs with swearing. Again, he puts all that he got into it, almost running out of power (physycal and moral). Some more seconds and he'll lose it. Again, his feet sink further into the transmuted floor͵ he struggles desperatly.

Michael sank further, his will to fight about to fade as his effort is proved futile with each try. His Pride alone prevents him from giving up, though. His eyes flickers as he stares at Campanella... The payback will come as soon as I get the fuck out of this trap!

Now that Archangel Michael has exhausted his Willpower and hasn't tried any other Actions, it's safe to assume he eventually passes out.

With a sweeping gesture he brings fresh, clean, air into the void he had created.

Campanella new spell convulses and spins as icy entropy of the Abyss taints it...

The seep of the Abyss stains both of the Mages, twisting their very thoughts.
Paradox not rolled = Paradox rolled by ST w no mitigation.
Result is Bedlam, subsequent Wisdom roll failed.
Both mages gain the Severe Derangement Megalomania (MtA p.269) for the remainder of the Scene. According roleplay expected.

How easy it happens. Corruption.
The Moros neither feels nor knows that it has happened. Only that as he hurries to his fallen comrade's side, a change comes over him.
The elation grows. A sense of superiority - proven superiority - blooms. The fellow had dared to land a blow on him from afar with his gauche Apostate tricks. A smile, tainted by with contempt and narcissistic self congratulation curled across his lip.
Campanella stopped to admire his own brilliant handiwork.
