Tuesday snorts.

"Uuuh-yeah." a nod, you didn't get in here just to act like that if you if you wanted to keep on living.

Tuesday waves as the goth-chick leaves.

"Sofia De Luca." Tuesday says right off, "She's the biggest shark in Sacramento. Seen her once. Covered in tattoos. Fierce looking. Clark Miller's an other name. He's got his fingers in a lot of pies. Haven't met him, but now that I can get in here...it's only a matter of time. Met this chick last time I was here. B something, haven't heard about her in a while. Maybe she skipped town, or maybe a deal went bad." Tuesday shrugs, and takes a sip of her much diminished drink. They both knew how this stuff worked, and there were risks. "There's others, but no one's as big as them."

[Thrope]

"De Luca and Miller" The names to remember get said aloud, once each. Names to avoid as well. No reason to come to the attention of the big fish yet. Not unless it is for something. And noteworthy in the best ways.

Being shown the door in a second town so fast would not go well. If I even got to the door.

"Thank you for letting me know." Do people ask permission before starting crews? Hmm a question to ask somewhere private. "How's town treating you so far?"

[Tuesday]

She nods as Thrope echos the names, not ones to forget, that's for damned sure.

"Any time." another nod and a smile, "I've been good, since I've come here, things have been looking up. Well other then that issue with the Clock." Sure. Lets call a War of all of Reality an 'issue'.

The Unicorn shakes her head, and finishes off her drink.

"Well. They were going good. But you heard about Jack and Dez right? They're leaving. So." she shrugs, and wishes she didn't get a drink with no booze in it.

[Thrope]

Thrope nods as the Clock comes up. Welcome to town! By the way we're trying to stop Time from getting mauled. Not the best welcome but better than a pistol to the face.

"Ya..not sure about that." Not the right words, or the right feeling. "We'll have to find some new friends." Is that even the right word? Associates? "O well...if you want to stick together." Now it's Thrope's turn to redden, which is not skillfully hidden as he takes a drink.

"Though... well ya. I don't know. This town is a lot more fluid than I'm used too."

[Tuesday]

"Yeah..." she sighs, shaking her head. "Don't think a whole lot of us know how to handle it." then a blink, "I do. But that's experience, and you know." her fingers wiggle, "Not me being a prideful ho."

You know what would be great right now? Taking a drink of something.

"Totally." she nods before grinning, with Stuff and confusion, it was nice to not have to worry so much. There wasn't the same mess of confusion and twisty feels when she caught sight of the poorly hidden blush. But sort of new twisty feels and might be a good thing. Only Time would tell. "I do. Want to. Stick together I mean." the grin softens into something not as teasing, and but maybe a little hopeful.

"Yeah, it's like the tide." she nods, tapping her fingers on her arms, "I thought Jack and Dez'd be here forever. But...Well. After them, it's Madison, the blond, then...me? I think. For tenure. Fuck." Tuesday blinks, because yeah. She can remember everyone else showing up. Fuck, by July she'd have spent a year in Sacramento. Whoa.

[Thrope]

The blush continues as Tuesday agrees. "Awesome...err. Right..." Words are a thing right? "We'll have to figure out the logistics later." No reason to discuss where mages are going to chill while you're surrounded by criminals.

No reason not to be proud of what you've done. Maybe Sacramento runs a bit quieter though. "Nothing wrong with being proud of where you're at." The blush fades with a smile. "Glad I can ask you questions."

"Hm well in a twisted way, congratulations on moving up." Glass raised in a small toast before another sip. "Though I guess the order of things will have to be figured out." Can't be at War and let everyone run around with their heads up their asses.

[Tuesday]

"Awesome...err..is good." Tuesday can't help but let out a soft laugh at the darkening blush on the Shaman's face. "For sure. Maybe we could meet at church and figure stuff out." like if they were going to stay Vee Tee or lay that name to rest with Star and Avis leaving.

"It's not like I'm not proud. I am. But not into hobag territory." lopsided grin, "But it's weird. Normally I'm not a sticking around in one place sort of person. I like roaming." well, she learned to like roaming. "But yeah. Question away." smile. Knowing that the Talon would ask something or another here, and ask when they weren't around Sleepers.

Veil. It's a thing.

"Ha. Yeah. Sure. And thanks. I guess." the toast is met with a raise of her empty glass, "Yeah for sure. We were gonna set Dez up as the prez, or head organizer, since. yeah." First Talon and they were at war. "But...well. Dez...leaving. So Yeah. We really need to sort shit out, since. Yeeeaaahhh."

[Thrope]

"Church sounds like a plan." It's still kind of weird. Thrope hasn't actually gone to church since he left home. There Uncle made sure that the church was clean of Seers. Out here? Not a thing. Maybe that'll get onto the list someday.

"Oo, makes sense. I stuck close to home because of family obligations. Traveling would be fun sometime. Though not for now, responsibilities and all." Can't just fuck off being an Arrow. Got to keep everyone else standing. God who did I turn into dad.

"Glad we're on the same page there." Though right now it's looking rough.

[Tuesday]

"Cool beans." she nods, and tries to flag down a waitress.

"Ahh." another nod, ignoring that he meant traveling as in going places he liked just because, instead of trying to be one random step ahead of Bad Stuff, and finding a alley to bed down in. "I don't think I've ever asked, but where are you from?"

The waitress arrives and Tuesday orders a proper White Russian.

"Still weird to think of. Me, responsible, but yeah. I'm glad too."
