The Spring Equinox has long since passed, and yet...the Crown has not appeared.
The Freehold is without a sovereign, and without a sovereign, no new pledges can be made...
What is worse, a creature of flame and eternal greed stalks the bounds of the city that the Freehold calls home, pulling strings so vast, the Lost can only barely comprehend them. Thousands of people call the Dragon master, though they do not know it. And thousands more do, but don't care, not when the paychecks are so...conciliatory.
And so the time has come for another gathering of the Freehold, another gathering of the Lost, and as luck would have it, a host stepped forward, though not a host entirely trusted by those who have dwelled in the Freehold long. Nevertheless, with the Blue Note being the home of the last Sovereign, Enda's the home of the one before it, and with no communal meeting space, the offer from Cosette the Butcher to host seemed as good a choice as any.
And so Rosetti's Garden opened it's doors for the first time, a soft opening for the Freehold of Sacramento, and Lost were already eating, drinking, and laughing inside, while others stood guard discreetly inside and out. The building was decently unspectacular, certainly holding no candle to the vacant Rose Garden that used to host the Spring Court, but the food was good, and there was space aplenty for the lost to sit and dine, or stand and chat.
