After Katya issues her promise of revenge, Cross looks her dead in the eye, doing his best to ignore the snarling of his beast. "And if you need any help making them pay. You know who to call." The Burned Man is serious. His wrath is apparent in those flat, blue eyes. This goes beyond Clan or Covenant. This is a direct attack on the domain, on his--their--home. It cannot stand.

A respectful nod is offered to Ale and Lady Stamford and then Cross approaches Alice, drawing close before she can follow David. "Keep the knife for now," he says quietly. "And if anything happens, call for back up." He's clearly concerned, but also proud. His family is not easily deterred or frightened off.

With that, he turns and starts leading the way to the vehicles, keeping a healthy distance between himself and the flames. If Gilroy needs to discuss anything further, he will obviously hear him out. If not, Cross will get in his car and drive off into the night after making sure his Regent is secure in his own vehicle.
