(Wrinkles) Back to the Future

[Emrys]

Timelines now remedied, the Syndic lead the Emissary through the theater and back outside where the anomaly had first been noticed. A certain eagerness was visible in Emrys as he made his way. While they were back from the late sixties, they had no idea what Miach or Faye had been doing. It seemed to just be a portal, but there was no telling what it was fully capable of.

"You see them?" He asked with a quick glance to Crowley. Eyes continued looking around, waiting for his people to reassemble.

[Crowley]

Crowley was holding his side gingerly, eyes narrowed against the bright light of day.

"Well... lets see. Yeah. There. Back where we... where we met them before. They... must have tracked back to catch up with us."

He pulled himself up before the words tumbled from his mouth. Jerking his head, he pointed over to where the anomaly had first been sighted. Miach and Faye were hovering close by the spot, as though they had never moved.

"Lets go."

[Miach]

Right when they had come to the decision of going through the portal, it collapsed in front of them. Miach froze. Thoughts raced in his mind, from relief at not having to try it to worry about the other two Enchanters, and puzzlement about what may have caused that.

"What the..." he asked, looking at Faye as if she might have an idea, and all around him in case it would have simply switched place... Yeah, right...

Only then did he spot Crowley and Emrys coming from the theater itself. "Hey, guys !" he cried out loud at them, so glad to see them safe !

[Aurora]

As she followed Miach and the portal did a disappearing act, she stopped in her tracks, a confused look on her face.

With a shrug of her shoulders and a shale of her head, she conveyed her reply, she had no friggin' clue what happened. Did portals do that? Just all of a sudden decide they had better stuff to do and just disappear?

Miachs out cry brought her out of her thoughts and she looks to see Emrys and Crowley. In one piece. She couldn't help the look of surprise, not every day your friends return from some weird portal.

The surprise turns to excitement, and she raises a hand, waving, a big smile on her face. Though she did have a ton of questions!

[Emrys]

A nod to Crowley, and Emrys was returning the smiles of his fellow Enchanters on his way over.

"Hey guys." He says as cool as a cucumber. "We had a bit of an adventure with that, but did you guys have any trouble on your end? Any retro crazy seeping through?"

Eyebrows quirked up, curious if anything happened on this side of the portal when they went through.

[Crowley]

Crowley grinned and waved back. This time though, the smile did not reach his eyes. They had a peculiar glazed look to them, a certain cautious quality, as his mind raced to process his experience.

He was about to speak, but Emrys beat him to the punch. Rather than interject, the Enchanter placed his arms behind his back and waited for others to respond.

It was a valid question. Their revelations could happen later. He had time.

[Miach]

As soon as the four Enchanters were gathered closely enough that they couldn't be overheard, Miach answered Emrys's question to the best of his limited abilities. And not without watching them with an appraisal look for the health - habits die hard. "We had just come to the decision to walk through it too, when it suddenly collapsed as we got to its event horizon. You ask me, whatever had caused the anomaly had been resolved... and I guess that must be your doing, then ?" he said, turning the question right back at the time-travellers.

[Aurora]

Her head nods a Miach speaks, but she didn't agree with it being resolved.

"Time wasn't on my side when I looked, but I had luck with other paths. Seems there were, or are, tangled threads." no need to explain more, they all worked Fate, they should know what she was talking about. If not, she could explain somewhere else.

[Emrys]

Emrys nodded in affirmation to Miach's question, pointing to Faye as she mentioned tangled threads.

"Threads are untangled now, which is what brought us back to our current place in the timeline. We did meet something interesting, and it passed on a warning of the major variety. Have either of you heard of a local figure calling himself Father? Or maybe a big bad that just watched to much of the Godfather movies?"

Eyes bounced quizzically around the group, a half smirk forming at the thought of an exaggerated Banisher Marlon Brando.

[Crowley]

"False Father, to be precise," Crowley added carefully. "It was very specific." His eyes eventually fell on Miach. The Mystogogues prided themselves as keepers of arcane lore and the Libertine hoped to his words might prod a reaction from the good doctor.
