As Twist headed in through the doors, Brittany followed in after her, continuing across the room with her. Needless to say the voice creeped Brittany out and she was looking forward to helping Twist silence it forever. She activated her sight to see in the dark, looking around to check for threats.

Peeling off of his wall Garrick paces into the gym at a good pace for shooting. A second later he drops and moves faster, following Twist and Brittany. Knife ready in his hand.
Aw the fuck is this? A god damned maze. And a fucker whispering..and a door closing. So is whispering fucker in here or did he taunt and run? The White Eyed Nosferatu focuses on everything. If it's the assassin, this place is going to suck.

Ale follows as the others go through the doors. She stops as she hears the whispers, wondering just what the fuck was going on. Whatever it was, something or someone seemed to know they were there. That could either make things go easier....or make for a really bad night for them.
One thing for sure, this dark sucks, and she calls upon her heightened senses to make it a little easier.

The knife twitches as Garrick thinks. Hand moving as a silent companion to the Haunts internal thoughts. Man fuck thissss Horror movie shit right here, stuck in a maze in a gym with some bastard whispering. Did the voice leave already? Through the door? So then move forward? Or stay here? Does this place have jet fuel too? That would suckkkk.
A look towards the Archon Twist and a quiet voice. "To those doors?" Followed by a nod towards the direction the noise came from..hopefully came from. All this stuff around is confusing. A glance towards Alessandra and Brittany is ignored as she slips away. Right now the woods seem like a better place to be.

When no assault is immediately launched, Twist straightens slightly, her eyes scanning the room even as she listens to the disembodied voice.
As it finishes, she grins out at the darkness and the voice it contains. "That he has good taste and skills in bed," she laughs, her voice a throaty purr that was entirely inappropriate for the situation at hand and perfect for between the covers.
Nodding to Garrick, Twist slips forward toward the next door, her steps cautious but no less sure footed for it.

She had to bite her tongue at Twists comment, an eyebrow raising slightly. Well, file that in info that was interesting to know.
When Twist moves to the closed door, Ale moves as well. Not wanting to get too far behind the Daeva. If she was attacked, Ale wanted to be there to jump in if needed. And of course help the Haunt should he need it.

After the room cramped by equipment, the indoor gymnasium feels absolutely cavernous.
Shoes skip and squeak on industrial rubberized flooring, and basketball backboards hang like giant gargoyles come to bear witness. Lights from outdoors spill through windows set high in the walls, orange slashes of light in this cathedral of pre-pubescent athletic triumphs.
They're outnumbered.
A half dozen or more roughs wait at the far side of the gym; at the center of them is the short and powerfully built Wilhelm Von Schusten. None of his compatriots trigger the Taint. More than likely? Ghouls. Or simply hired help. Armed with various melee weapons, Von Schusten's dull black SMG is a stark contrast.
"A lot of women say that," he answers Twist, seeing if there's any jealousy to be found under her humor.
"Before we start. I've been instructed to extend an invitation to you. House Straiphen would welcome and honor you. If you decline, I suggest your friends leave. Do they know this is a war between our Houses? Is that worth the Final Death?"
He hefts his weapon, calling attention to it.
"This is loaded with Dragon's Breath."
Need a Resolve + Blood Potency roll from each person and a Wits+Subtefuge roll (any Lie Detection Specialty applies).
Also, go ahead and roll Initiative. It's not combat yet, but if it gets there, we'll all be ready.

Twist slowly scans the room as she slows her walk to a stop across the way. Bringing her gaze back to Von Shusten, she gives a sensual shrug of one shoulder and grins, "A lot of women are lucky to have had the experience." If there was any jealousy in the petite Daeva it was either masked so deep that even a mindreader couldn't sense it or it actually didn't exist. Faults Twist had in plenty, but that one had never been one.
"Oh!" she breathes, her face an exaggerated expression of sudden understanding, "Is that what it is? Definitely good to be clear about that." The expression fades into a pout at the hefted weapon, "That is a shame. I was told you were a swordsmith." She huffs out a dissapointed breath and then shrugs growing serious.
"And if I accept?"

Blushing is a thing with being dead, it requires effort. So Garrick can't actually blush at Twist's words. It has been years since he's heard that tone of voice. Even though he doesn't blush the meak head bob gives away just how he feels. Seeing Twist nod, Garrick gives his head a shake then follows her and Ale. Really bad time to start thinking about that cute chick at the bar from a days back.
The head count is quick, more of them. Fun. Mostly melee and the talking prick has a gun. Coming to a stop adjacent and two steps behind Twist, Garrick slides his knife back into its sheath. Fuck the Final Death, once was enough thanks. Knowing he can't ever see the sun again doesn't stop Garrick from wishing he could.
Hopefully the Archon understands later... What the hell is a dragon's breath or a House?
