By the door Milo listened idly as Gregory went on about the stolen property. The Fairest didn't think it was anything, to him a pawn shop was a dump for the material refuse of relationships people had long since outgrown. So when the Gargoyle's little trinket turned into a lead on stolen tokens within arms reach of mortals the Fairest was both surprised and worried.
"How long has this been happening?" Milo said as he turned back to the table. "And have you been able to recover all of your stolen merchandise?"
With Ms Rosemary safe, he was about to have some time on his hands anyway.

The man gave Gregory a long slow confirmation. “Indeed. Some of them can cost a pretty penny.”
A nod toward him, indicating the watch. “It will give the owner the power of great timing for a few moments.” He looked at the Gargoyle with a serious addition. “But it may also mean that it may cost you a year of your life in the future. Call it the bedpan years.” He didn’t chuckle which further indicated his severity.
He turned to Milo and shook his head. "Unfortunately no. We aren't even sure it is all in this area. Over the course of time the previous owners have come to me claiming its missing. All of these owners are not even from Sacramento, so we're not sure how the watch turned up in one shop and a lantern in another of Sacramento's shops."

"My thanks," says Gregory for the generous explanation, eyeing the watch with renewed fascination.
"If you cared to recover such merchandise..." he starts, testing the Token's worth, "Would this cover the debt of Mrs. Rosemary's service to you?" He doubts it will. If the man can craft Tokens of such powerful tools then there would be little sense in parting with the Ogress over it. But he would feel foolish if he did not at least ask.

Likewise, Ramona will remain present, focused as she is on the safety of the team, but please don't wait for me to post, she's not intending to interact with anyone.

Milo's mouth twitched to the side at the mention of the lantern. If the tokens were showing up in other areas he'd have let them be, but this shit happening in Sacramento made it partially his responsibility.
"Did you retrieve the lantern?" Concern washed over Milo's features as he questioned the man. "I fear what may happen if such devices fell into unknowing hands. If you need help hunting these tokens down say so, otherwise I can be reached with a message left at Edna's boarding house."
With his offer of aid raised, he watched flannel, wondering if his offer or Gregory's proposal would sway the man into helping them.
The Plaid man studied Gregory, he could see the plight for his friend but sadly shook his head. "I'm sorry, but time was what caused her issue. And a watch cannot repair her penance."
His neighboring partner grabbed him and pulled to his ear whispering. "Cut a deal, get them to get the other stuff and we can work things out. Maybe they won't continue to annoy us about Rosemary at some point."
Plaid pulled himself away. "Okay, well, you could aid in finding the lantern. There are some others unaccounted for as well. Some I didn't sell, but reported missing."

As Morgan couldn't hear the quiet words over the din of the restaurant, she decides to stay with the Lynn and Ramona by the door. It felt safer with friends.
Morgan is going to just chill unless someone tells her about the whispers

Gregory's ears twitch as he eyes the whispering man curiously. The way the man in plaid changes his tune, it seems they may be able to come to some sort of arrangement regarding these missing Tokens.
"I see. Then perhaps we may return, should such things be found." At least there is an option on the table now after Gregory's inquiry. For now, though, they were all exhausted and eager to depart. Gregory nodded to the men and turns to leave.
