Chuck sat replying to an email on his phone in the William A Carroll Amphitheatre in front of the lake and across the road from 'Fairytale Town' while he waited for the rest of his pack to arrive. It was early morning this time and the peals of laughter and screams of delight were just beginning from the playground, replacing the eerie silence of a park at night, surrounded by traffic and the noise of the city.
He was frustrated. Holding a pack together never seemed like such hard work, and yet last time he was here he had an entirely different set of wolves with him. He wanted his pack to run well, smoothly, efficiently and wondered exactly what they needed to make his dream a reality while he waited for the rest of his pack to arrive.
