(1501) Bishop at the door

Namkha bowed her head again and said "Glad to make your acquaintance" as the other woman introduced herself. "I see" was her only reaction to Weavebreaker's mention of the acquaintances in the Golden Consilium. It didn't take much to add two and two; whom the Talon might know most probably if not other Talons? Resentment - hidden due to protocol - still enough to try to make someone hurt. Memorized. She wasn't surprised. Namkha was ready for more open enmity. It came with her allegiance.

How funny was that even - especially - with Guardians from the Golden Consilium, the first impressions were made so fast.

When Bishop gave her the Hospitality right, the female Guardian nodded in gratitude. Speaking between Guardians aside, Namkha could only assume it was her Order's branch that was hurt the most due to Dal Riata's actions. The best choice for now was to play by their - not even the Guardians', all of the Consilium's - rules and be a perfect guest. "Thank you. I understand the rules and I will adhere to them. If you ever want to contact me..." the woman took a small notebook out of her bag, noted her Shadow Name and a number and tore out the paper, "...this is the contact I use."

She turned again to the Talon while hiding the notebook and the pen and smiled sparsely. "I'd appreciate your help in finding a Herald, if you may, please."

Pleased, that he was understood, Bishop palmed the paper and stuffed it away neatly into one of his inner pockets after reading and memorizing the number. Chances were, they would probably run in again as they were both of the same order.
He simply nodded and left the two alone, focussing on the entrance to the Hostels parkway. A lot of people were here already. How many more, remained to be seen.

[Weavebreaker]

Weavebreaker nodded her head softly to both of them, as she moved deeper in to find a Herald. "This way please." It didn't take her long to catch one of them around the buffet table. She couldn't help but make just a 'little' small talk.

"How are things going with the Golden Gate bridge?" Weavebreaker figured that was probably a better subject to talk about than Nero.

Weavebreaker headed back to Bishop after getting Namkha over to Crowley. "Good to go." She said with a soft nod. "I have to say, that was rather left field..."

[Samaritan]

"Right."
Bishop produced a set of keys and closed the doors. He cast a last glance through the doors window and then turned the key. They were locked and secure
He turned around to Weavebreaker and raised and eyebrow.
"Left field? You mean the envoy?"
He had not heard the expression. It sounded somehow like baseball, a sport beyond Bishops comprehension, even though he had spent considerable time trying to understand the whole thing.

[Weavebreaker]

"Yup." Weavebreaker gave a soft nod of her head, as she watched him lock up. "Well, now that you are done with the door...I will leave ya be to go mingle." She said with a soft smile. She glanced back, partly looking if there was anyone she should talk to, while the other part just wanted a secluded and quiet spot to rest her weary feet.

"Well, we'll see about her. Sending an envoy will most likely mean something official and since this council has a tendency to wash dirty clothes in public..." he trailed off, half joking and half serious.
"I am sure, we will hear about it."
He stretched his arms and rubbed his aching chest. The bruise was still pretty fresh. Striker had been right to say it. But it had been well earned and Bishop had been to proud to accept a healing spell, so now he was stuck with a patch that was in essence a biological rainbow on his solar-plexus.
"See you inside." He gave her a wan smile. The evening was far from over. Best to get inside and take a look around before everything took off.
