The last of the worm-things hurls itself at Jayant, discorporating and attempting to overwhelm him with the sheer number of worms, but having already seen this, he is able to sidestep most of its attack, and the worms mostly just land on the floor and steps of the Avalon.
Other than some worms still wriggling on the ground, and the few trying to dig their way into Jayant, there is no sign of the strange things. Jayant's companions are able to clear the worms off him with little trouble, and a moment later the ones still burrowing into others of the vampires stop doing so, apparently fading into nothingness. The worms on the floor do the same, becoming mere shadow and smoke, then vanishing.
Jayant takes 1 bashing. We are out of initiative phases now.
