”Hello good night, do I have the pleasure of talking with Miss Chantay Jones?”

For continuity reasons, this call happens the night before [Under Control] Wheels Up
It's also almost midnight...

There was a somewhat formal sounding response that Chantay often used when taking phone calls from numbers that she did not recognize, as it wasn't uncommon for them to touch upon business in some form or another. But as that hadn't exactly been an overly formal greeting, she slid into a bit more casual phrasing. "Yes, this is Chantay. I'm afraid I don't seem to recognize you, though...Miss?" The last word is drawn out. Obviously a question, and an opening for the woman on the other end to introduce herself.

”Thank you for answering my call Miss Chantay, my name is V, I’m with the management on the Asylum club, downtown.” Velma allowed the introduction to seat in before continuing.
”It came to our attention that a suspicious group of persons seemed to be looking for your whereabouts…” That should get her attention.
”Suffice to say we value the privacy of our customers, and since you are one of our valued clients we felt obliged to divulge this information to you. There is a small pause before she makes an offer.
"Perhaps we could discuss this in an office at the Asylum? During opening hours on [date]?”

"I see." A suspicious group of persons...there were two that came immediately to mind, given current events. Could either of them have come to the Asylum's attention somehow?
"Thank you for letting me know. And yes, that time works for me."
"Would you mind if I brought a pair of friends along? I suspect that this may be of interest to them as well." And given the city's present territorial state she'd rather not venture to the Asylum on her own.

”Of course, please mention my name at the door and I will have someone to direct you to me.” Velma ponders for a few moments.
”We at the Asylum will also be coordinating to assess any possible security measures we might adopt from now on, you will be meeting with some associates of mine as well, specialists in the field, if its ok with you?”

"I don't see any problem with that, no." The Asylum didn't exactly strike her as a likely place for an ambush.
"So just ask for...V, at the door?"

|
”Yes, we will all be waiting for you!"
"Thank you for your understanding.” The Daeva finally replied, thanking the woman in advance.
