Oof. I do not think 8 'floating' character creation xp and dropping Wisdom xp will make the 20 xp Resource hump. Nor will Resource 3 be 'story' appropriate. I'll think of something else in pairing Haven/Resources! Will keep working on it.

Also, Giant - chargen.
I spent my 20 of my 30 character generation points on the Giant merit. Is this not chargen? Help if I'm not getting some nuance.

Sanctum 4 Dots (1 Security / 3 Space)

Was trying to think of ways to develop plot hooks and points of interest. If I swap out (1 Security) for (1 Hallow). Yes, this leaves the Sanctum somewhat less secure but provides more of an incentive for other players to 'invest' into; additionally, it opens up an opportunity for plot hooks/interest. Say the Hallow is heavily tainted by a Death which produces an ugly ghost. This, in turn, creates a strong 'Death' resonance which feeds into a big mean spirit that dominates the local landscape... voila! ^_^ Get more narratively 'out of' the hallow than security.

Will this fly?

Character creation Merits can only be bought with the initial 7 dots, not experience points (NWoD, p.108).

You'd have to discuss adjusting the Spirit landscape with the ST, but I doubt it.

Now your previous comment makes much more sense, "Giant is chargen only, but you can swap Giant with Haven" (CC Forum). Is it too late to swap Giant with Haven, since they both cost 20xp?

Round Three… Write!

I’ve noticed that there were already three or four Thyrsus and one (ST Written) Moros. I like West’s idea about forming a formal/informal Ghost/Spirit “task force” and since we already have a highly competent Spirit Mage (Anima) thought I’d take Benji’s advice (be useful to others) and bring in a Moros. With a little narrative and stat tweaking, I can still run ‘Grim Guardian of Borders’ character who might better ‘step into the breach’. There might be more ‘narrative space’ here, as well.

Nimbus:

Hallow is not allowed at chargen
A character has 7 merit dots. Gnosis costs 3 merit dots per point, so gnosis 3 = 6 of 7 merit dots. You can take gnosis 2 and Giant if you really want it

Also, its Gnosis 2 (as before) just costs 3 Merit points. Was mirroring the format used in character submission so as to ensure I have the code correct (without the #).
