Quick steps took the brunette out the door, her gun aiming at the dog that had attacked Tal. She couldn't much account for what dogs were which in firing order, but she'd be damned if she was going to let Tal take any more damage than she already had. It was an almost instinctual motion - it was not about what the dog was, anymore. Someone was being clearly injured. She wouldn't stand for it.
The shot rang out pointedly from the gun that had been in Diane's car, and Jo's gaze had settled promptly on the dog that held to Tal's leg. Why had the woman pulled her gun if she decided she was going to use a knife, anyway? It hardly made sense to the brunette, but then, guns were a comfortable fit for her own hands. She did her best to put as much distance between herself and the dogs as possible, but of course there were limits.
If she's able to both close the door AND shoot, Jodie will have closed the door behind her before taking aim and shooting in hopes of closing the other dog in the room. If not, she's simply shooting.
