Auto was dealing with warring emotions. Relief, because holy shit he's glad he figured out Lockheart before he signed up with his Cabal. Frustration, because no one likes it when something looks like a good thing only to have it blow up in your face. Discouraged, because if this was the kind of person that was a Councilor and a Sentinel and in charge of the Arrows here it set a very grim tone for his career in the city.
Unless he found Lockheart to be some sort of outlier, he was obviously not going the be able to trust the Arrows or the Consilium for any kind of security. He wondered, as he exited the restaurant against the crowd of people, if there was anyone else who had these kinds of concerns about the way things were in Sacramento. He never smoked before, a cough wasn't something a smart person in his line of work courted, but damn if this wasn't the time to start.
He wasn't going to do it though, he knew it. It was just comforting to know he could start any time he really wanted to. Amped up, he started heading down the street, towards his vehicle. He'd decide what to do with the rest of his evening once he got there.
