Jennifer pulls up at Avalon, reviewing what she now knows about the situation. She glances around the parking lot for Mr. Galloway for a moment, her car idling. She may well use Valet service but she is rather curious if the Valet will be the gentleman on her mind. Jennifer lines her car up for valet service, carefully setting up her business phone in the passenger side of the seat and pressing record as a valet approaches. She is unsure if it is the one she's curious about, but the phone should get some footage, some voice capture. She checks her clutch to ensure that her personal phone is still within before stepping out as the valet bade. Jennifer strides within Avalon as her car pulls away from the curb, heading to some lot out of sight.

As Jennifer prepares her phone, she remembers that Avalon is not where Carlos works...

After realizing her mistake, Jennifer parks in the parking lot to place a phone call to Mr. Galloway, informing him of the change of venue.

Jennifer then places her vehicle into drive and drives to where Carlos works, intent on pursuing the man's involvement once again. She lines herself up for the valet service and sets up her business phone to make a recording of the valet who collects her car.

August had managed to make it to the new venue just a few moments before the Madame Notary, which was nice as he had been running late to the original meeting place anyway. With his car having already been pulled around, the Southern Ventrue found himself waiting outside the club by the doors. As Miss Hazelton approached he gave a genuine grin, and opened the door for the lady.

"You are looking most lovely tonight Miss Hazelton." he said in that drawl of his as they entered.

"Thankyou, Mr. Galloway." Jennifer greets him with a sincere smile. "It has been too long."

The Nosferatu wears the signature little black dress with red flats. Her red scarf is knotted firmly in place and she brushes it for reassurance. She checks out the valet hub, checking how many men are working here tonight. As she receives her claim ticket, she nods to Mr. Galloway and approaches the building.

"In ideal way to root out an undesirable is if we knew the baseline. What was normal here," Jennifer speaks quietly.
"Have you ever been here before?" She questions Mr. Galloway in a normal volume. "I don't know what was wrong with me, confusing the two places."

August gave an appreciative once over of her outfit and nodded in agreement at her sentiment."Indeed, family matters are so terrifically unfortunate. I'm glad to be back in good company and home once more though....No, this isn't in my usual social circles Miss. Hazleton, and think no more on the mix up. Small thing, could've happened to anyone really." he said reassuringly as their conversation progressed. In a lower but still conversational volume, he added...

"Following the rules I can't really use a commanding tone, as I understand it...although if we find an agreeable sort they might be willing to step outside for a smoke. I do love a good tobacco pipe Miss Hazelton, and one can have many good conversations while puffing away thoughtfully." he looked at her, curious as to how she would feel about the suggestion.

The valet hands Jennifer a claim ticket after doing a poor job of ogling her legs as he holds the door for her. Oblivious to her phone*, he drives away.

There's a dull drone of music coming from Asylum, low and garish that provides perfect white noise. The outside is littered with people. Unlike a place like Nox or Lily, they're not waiting to get inside. It's more like an overflow of the inside. Small pockets of people, and few singles. Odors tinge the night air with the same heavy tang a jungle might have: layers of different smells, old and new.

More than one glance is directed their way. Some of them are familiar. Not the faces, but the eyes.

Predatory.

Jennifer suppresses the urge to take in these singles more carefully. She is not here to hunt. She is here to learn. Her deep brown eyes flick to the glances, her own conveying one of confidence. She avoids locking gazes with any one; not wishing to be drawn into confrontation. That would be a distraction.

"No, not here," Jennifer replies to Mr. Galloway quietly. "- although it is such a warm embrace. Let us find some place with a good vantage point. I want to see whose moving around."

Speaking normally, she walks within the den of predators.
"Where is he?" She wonders aloud, her eyes wandering the crowd as though searching for a wayward acquaintance that perhaps they are to meet. Her eyes search out illicit exchanges, more than hoping she won't be seeing only lust.

Jennifer leads among the pockets, etching out a pocket for them to stand near a throng of moving bodies. She stands more with confidence, projecting and trying to make people disinclined to approach. She places a hand on Mr. Galloway's arm and leans in, perhaps it will be mistaken as romance to someone moving by. She turns her head close to his and scans behind Mr. Galloway, looking at servers, busboys and staff. It'd be an easier means of exchange, she considered.
