Elaine focuses on accompanying the scouting party in silent and unseen obscurity, watching their flanks as she stays with the group.

Jim nods to his fellow elodoth, glad that she seems to take charge like a proper Iminir.
<<Thanks. We've got to stick together here until we have a proper place. I'm looking across the gauntlet, I could use your eyes as well.>>

She only knew the issues of newly thrown together packs so well. No one listens, and the ones that do usually are the ones that should be helping with the orders. The large wolf head nodded at Jim as he prepared to look across, on her own side she watched. She couldn’t see through like he could, but she could make some level of a look out for the others.
Unfortunately this wasn’t exactly a den, and she really just hoped that the Pure wouldn’t move on in this direction while the other three were off somewhere. Particularly Elaine -- travel with someone long enough and they become Pack.

Jeremiah stares off into the distance for a moment the blinks and looks at Kevin.
<<Completely missed that question. Yes your tongue works just fine. Partially the reason I assumed Near-Man.>> He gives a minute shrug to avoid as much pain as he can. <<It's also easier to talk like this.>>

Kevin assumes Dalu form, he moves to check Jer's injuries. Taking a deep breath, he moves his tongue about his mouth, gesturing for Jeremiah to hold still. With Jer and his own Auspice Moon in the sky, he's confident that their Mother is watching them. He whispers softly as he works up the nerve to lick Jer with his own tongue, he focuses some of his own Essence into it. <<Bless this Rite so we might repair what needs to be repaired, Oh Merciful Mother.>>
Placing his hands in front of him and near his midsection, he leans down and slowly brings his face to the beginning of the wound. With a swallow, he opens his mouth and sticks out his tongue. His tongue touches the edge and he then does a balancing act as he follows the bleeding tear from end to end. He brings his tongue into his mouth and does his best to not spit as he pulls back to pick out the next area needing his attention. As minutes tick by, he licks at Jer's wounds. He didn't dare swallow at all until he's done, he then spits at the ground, not that it helps with the memory of what Jer's blood taste like or the texture of the wounds.
<<Anyone have some water I could wash my mouth with?>> He asks weakly after he studies the, hopefully, on the mend wounds.

Tony froze when Firebringer told him to wait. The look on his face a few seconds later suggested he realized what a terrible idea he had just had.
He returned to the group, near enough to be safe, but still apart from the Sworn. He had to cooperate with everyone present, but they were not his pack. He also didn't have to forgive Swift for nearly exposing them to the hunters, or for violating Shieldbearer's judgement and returning to the city. So he settled on where he was now standing, where he could keep a watchful eye out for the wounded, but not have to talk to any of the Sworn. Hopefully.
The scouting part moves south silently, slipping along. The moment they enter the woods the darkness feels much, much darker and much heavier. Like a black, wool blanket had been pulled over them the night gently, but firmly, presses in around them. At first it's impossible to notice, the nearly invisible spiderweb strands that criss-cross in the trees, but after feeling them stick to their face and body several times, they become easier to pick out.
As Firebringer looks around with his Nightsight, now knowing what to look for, he can see strands upon strands of spider-silk weaving through the trees. Occasionally, he catches glimpses of the tiny spider spirits that most have made them. He feels the Locus to the south, deeper in the trees. And it feels STRONG. Even here, what must be a few hundred yards away he can feel the power of the gathered essence.
Elaine's ear's perk, she hears a distant sound, a muffled whimper. The sound is barely audible, but clearly there.
Jim peeks across the gauntlet and see the airport, quiet, still, and un-moving in the night.
Sam manages to break every stick and rustle every leaf on the ground, but it seems no one is around, or no one cares. She perceives no danger in any form.
Due to the misunderstanding, I'll allow the rite to Heal 3 Agg.
