Halloween 2012: Club Ember

Where at Sacramento's other Halloween events one would dress to impress, for Club Ember you don't necessarily need a lot of clothes at all.

Upon entering, a wristband is given, giving access to the club as zombie door attendants hole punch a ticket to qualify the party goer for the two free drinks.

Inside there has been a great change of scenery. Several large cages are placed around the club, showing the muscled mutants that were promised. One stranger than the other, thank god these guys are locked up already. There are more than enough dangers walking around.

At Ember's main stage visitors find the dead-sexy-suckers. Vampiric ladies, mostly with custumes recognizable from some movies. The vampires don't suck at what they do, but they sure as hell like to suck...

Blood. Of course.

Walking around are the zombie waitresses, it is not as if one can be in a hurry in this crowd! Then all we are missing are the monster cops. Security inside is nice to look at, but for all these monsters Club Ember indeed needs a lot more guns and handcuffs.

All strippers, waitresses and security people have "staff" badges on their costume somewhere, because, you wouldn't want to be giving your dollar bills to the wrong people, do you?

Naturally already present is Alice Brown, one of the managers of Club Ember. As every year she spends a lot of time thinking about what to wear. While picking outfits for the strippers she came along X-Men wolverine, so she thought being Storm could be cool. However, then she would have to float through the air all the time, or stand next to Wolverine...

The other option she thought that was extremely sexy was a Catwoman-like costume, but she as the face of Ember had to be recognizable, even during Halloween. Or especially during Halloween.

So Alice ends up suiting tonight's theme. She sees herself as the sheriff of this evening. A sheriff that doesn't mind being around her employees at all.

At the start of the evening she's talking with a random muscle hunk near the main stage.

The tattoo was an interesting form of Henna, and it had taken time, but it was so worth it. Honestly some Halloween events were practically needed, and for this she decided to not go the cut hair way. And the small circles of shells in her hair along with the flowers and tassels. She was something shiny, barely dressed, and happily flaunting it.

Why not go to the Ember? It was a strip club, the only down side is that it increased the chance that there would be others.

Whatever.

She let one of the zombie chicks wrap a wristband around her blood-flushed wrist before Catherine sashayed into the club. Props to who ever decided with sexy cop and monster theme.

The only downside so far was that it was all mostly kine, and no one really interesting.

[Aenigma]

Aenigma walked into the club, glad that the zombie girls couldn't see him blush behind his mask. The Warlock had no clue that Ember was a strip club until he was inside. While part of him wanted to turn back around and leave, part of him was also curious as to how the rest of his posse would react to the surprise. Well, maybe it wouldn't be a surprise to them all?

While they didn't really match the theme of the evening, Aenigma was happy with the theme he and his friends had chosen for that evening. It was a classic with a little twist to it, and he figured Steampunk Oz was something many people wouldn't think about...so at least they had picked something original.

Playing the part of the Scarecrow, he scanned the crowd in search of an empty table. Once he spotted one, he turned back to his Cabal and the couple of new Mystagogues that had tagged along for the night. "Let's get us a table, shall we?" said the young Warlock, his voice muffled by the mask over his face.

Really, Club Ember? thought the metallic-encased architect that lumbered behind his scarecrow counterpart. If he had known his Cabalmate would be taking them to this party he would have worn a more adjustable codpiece. The bald Awakened had never been entirely comfortable with scantily clad women, though he remained composed as always with a cheerful smile hidden behind his mask.

"Aenigma, did you see? Already I've spotted another tin man in the crowd. I hope this wasn't a poor choice for attire..." said Toren, also muffled, betraying a hint of nervousness. He had spent a whole day on the costume and he didn't want to get shown up by some manly muscles.

"I'll be glad to sit down though, I'm starting to feel heavy."

Catherine was enjoying the feel of the Kine around her, the club was just outside the outlines listed for the Rack. But it was an Elysia, right?

Too bad.

It didn’t stop the views from being good at least.

And she was covered by shiney things, in a room of scantily clad others, just another face in the crowd to some, but at least eye catching to others. She found herself picking out the beasts in the crowd, it was always better to get a handle on them, especially since she didn’t emit one herself. And that was when she chose to strike.

“Why hello there, Sheriff, or are you just a normal cowboy.” Nothing like wanting to run your hands all over a perfectly bared chest, but even she had to play nice sometimes.

She was a half naked Gypsy, she could do what she wanted.

As soon as Alice sees a fellow Kindred approaching her she says goodbye to the man she was talking with. Then she nods to John. 'Mr Smith, good evening! I am... Ember's Head of the Monster Cop department tonight! Or just a sheriff, whatever you like.' She sends him a wink before shortly looking around the club.

On nights like this a manager simply cannot completely relax.

'And you are... Bacchus? Or perhaps another Greek or Roman person?'

Yes, there are brains behind the pretty face.
