A single blond eyebrow found it’s way skyward as the Obrimos looked over the young girl. “Sure men worship women, particularly if their breasts are bared as such, but I think it could be a cursor back to Cleopatra. Particularly because of the snakes and the bared chest.”

She paused for a moment. “Of course, Cleo was hailed as Pharoah and therefore a god for a period of time, most of her images have been removed. That whole male dominance thing.” As if she didn’t know about that.

Men, always trying to have their way no matter who they stepped on in the process.

Aenigma let out a soft chuckle at the Daeva's words, giving a slight nod. "Fair enough," he said in response, giving Adam a little smile. "You know, the History Channel used to not be all that bad actually. But then they decided to start doing shows about ancient UFOs and conspiracy theories..." the Mystagogue let his words trail off as he shook his head a couple of times.

The Warlock let out another laugh at Adam's response to the question, a smirk touching the corner of his lips. "That's a good answer," he said to him, giving him a quick wink. "Speaking of which, would you like to grab a drink from the bar?" He gestured towards the bar area that had been nicely set up for the event. "Then you can enjoy both the free alcohol and the history lesson," said Aenigma, flashing the Daeva a quick grin.

“Or Hekate, as she was sometimes associated with snakes. But then Hekate is a goddess but one of the three fold goddesses. I still doubt that this woman is numbered among the divine.” The other two weren’t even listening.

How wonderful, it was like she wasn’t even there.

Stephen looked on as the blond-haired woman he was just talking to suddenly up and left. For a second, he just stared as she exited the museum, leaving him scratching the back of his neck.


“Well, that was… unexpected.” Stephen finally managed to admit in an embarrassed tone. “Normally, me asking for someone’s name doesn’t result in that person… well… fleeing the scene.” After taking a deep sigh, he walked back over to Emily.


“What would you like to do? Do you want to explore the new exhibit a little more, or would you like to call it a night?”

The unresponsive man didn't quite soured Miach's mood, but the Acanthus didn't feel like staying near him much longer.

Looking around the exhibit, he noticed a rather big crowd gathered around one of the masterpiece on display, and joined the fray to get a look at the Phaistos Disc. Thankfully, he was taller than most, and read how famous this disc of clay was to archaeologist. It was still an undeciphered piece, and a puzzle that defied time. It would of course catch the attention of the Mysterium. The whole exhibit might even have been a mere pretext for Aenigma to have a look at it...

Miach made a mental note to check with the Warlock, and looked around to see if he was available for a talk, but it seemed he wasn't. Shrugging, he started commiting the shapes and forms of the logographs to memory, if only as an exercise, thinking about leaving soon.

Aenigma let out a soft laugh at Adam's response.

"Yes, let's go before the line by the bar gets too long," said the young Mystagogue with a little smile. "Many of our benefactors tend to show up just for the open bar, so if we aren't quick enough we may miss our chance." He let out a chuckle and then gestured for the man to walk with him to the bar.

Once they reached the bar, he waited until the bartender was free. "May I have a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon please," requested the Warlock before turning to the Daeva. "What would you like?"
