The Hunt for Enzo

As the Mean Machine Constable walks through the fire, he is touched by the smoldering flames, even though he doesn't seem to feel the heat as he marches towards its target. His massive fists of steel strike true, brutally pounding the fire Elemental. However, the flames around him strike back, lashing out like whips at Rook's body.

Rook takes 1 Lethal from the fire around the house, and 2 Lethal from Pietro's "Armor of Element's Fury"

Meanwhile, the hyena Beast lets out another bout of hysterical laughter, the sound of which is not particularly pleasant. He pumps the shotgun in his hands and chooses to shoot through the fire, not caring much for accuracy as long as he hits something.

The huge Gristlegrinder does not take his chances with the fire either, leaping over it with ease as he invokes a couple of his Contracts. He charges forward, attempting to grab a hold of Big Swilla. However, he gets nothing but air as the Coldscales manages to sidestep out of his way...and starts cracking up.

"Fool, what you do all that for?"

Clare lets out a vicious swear and the blast bites into her, and, focusing through the haze of flames, takes aim at the Hyena with her glock and shoots. God willing, she'll land a hit.

Clare manages to land a hit on her target. The shot hits Dirt Harry on the chest, penetrating the light armor he is wearing. The hyena Beast curses the Ogress as he is hit.

Meanwhile, Anya's fire blast lands directly on the fire Elemental's bare chest, charring some of his skin. However, the Fireheart's own flames strike back at the Draconic, burning some of her own flesh in the process.

Spartan's javelin manages to slice some of Enzo's flesh as it flies by him. While it does not land directly on the Dancer, it does manage to cut his skin enough to make the bastard bleed.

After the Gristlegrinder missed him, Swilla channels some of his own Glamour into his counterattack. He swings one of his huge fists, connecting with a vicious blow against the Ogre's abdomen. "Take that mothafucka!" calls out the large Coldscales.

Irina , attacking with an Element while using Armor of Elements Fury requires a "touch attack," thus Anya would still need to be in melee range with her target, which is why she is taking damage from both crossing the fire (reduced accordingly per Cloak of the Elements) and from Pietro's own Armor of Elements. Justin was focused on taking the hyena-man down and the sound of Clare's cry of pain only drove him onwards. Running through the fire towards his target, the Manikin pulled off the glove on his right hand as he came close to the wounded Beast. Reaching out to tap his quarry, Justin hoped that his agreement with Electricity allowed him to land this move.

As Justin crosses the fire, the burning flames lash out at his body. Even then, the Elemental manages to strike at his target. However, the damage done seems to be minimal as the Beast lets out another mocking laugh as he is shocked by Justin. "Is that all you got?" he calls out in a taunting manner with a shit-eating grin on his face.

"You shouldn't play with fire...you may end up getting burned," calls out the Fireheart as he flashes a devilish smirk at Anya. As the Elemental's lips curve into that twisted smile of his, he brings up his hands in front of him as he channels a fiery blast directly at the Draconic, engulfing her in vicious flames. The Draconic falls to the ground, but as she does, the flames around her lash out against her opponent one last time.

As the Constable's fists connect with the Fireheart's body, he is burned one last time by the flames around the other Elemental, who quickly drops to the ground as his ribs meet Rook's deadly fists of steel. The hellish flames around the house suddenly vanish into thin air as this happens.

Meanwhile, the hyena Beast has a new target as he pumps his hedgespun shotgun and aims it at Justin's chest. "Tag's on you...asshole!" he calls out and then laughs again as he fires his weapon.

"ANYA! JUSTIN! Fuck!" Clare glances quickly at the other fights going on, two of their team was down, and one of theirs. Enzo was in the air, and only her bullets and Spartan's javelins could bring him down. Rook was on the same side of the Fire as the Laughing Bastard, and Clare bit her tongue not to request Rook to help her.

Her instincts were insisting that she should help Spartan, being the only other person with long-range weaponry. Unfortunately, the thought was distracting enough that her aim wasn't true - she missed.
