    Bastidors said nothing as he pulled from the powers of Arcadia, staring at his opponent. As he did, his body became larger his being became stronger only staring off at Spartan as he did this. Like a bull in a pit ready to take on the bullfighter with the red cape.

    He bore down and took after to Spartan his giants hands reared up and came tearing after the Bloodbrute. Breathing deep which sounded like a growl of power.

    As the beast rushes forward to attack the Mighty Hoplite he steps into the attack, with perfect technique and brute force he drives the spear into the monster and up, piercing all the way through in a brutal and violent fashion. Blood flew from the monstrous creature and Spartan let out a mighty roar, he then turned and ripped the spear back out in a fountain of blood.

    Spartan is using Warding Stance to jump the initiative and deliver a brutal sacrifice to the bastard. Spartan also has Armor Piercing 1 thanks to RRTR. With that Spartan is now first in the initiative order and yanks his spear back out, dealing 2 additional lethal. Assuming everything resolves successfully. I have updated my minisheet -1 glamour and -1 wp

    Bastidors let out a deep grumble as Spartan’s spear pierced him numerous times. But like any blunt object it hurt more getting pulled out especially the last time. “ARGGGGGGG” Whether it was pain or a growl of battle, the Giant’s voice echoed through the arena.

    Some of the crowd cheered for Spartan as his talent with the halberd filled the wingy looking creature with marks as blood seeped out of the wounds.

    When Bastidors got his bearings, he wrapped his huge arms around Spartan holding him around the waist after making sure the Bloodbrute’s arms were facing away. The fearsome giant’s mouth opened and bit down on the King of Summer’s shoulder growling as he did.

    The hoplite king feels the strong arms wrap around himself and uses all of his brute force, including a roaring yell, to break free of the grapple. Spartan knows that to survive this he needs distance so he moves away. Idiots would call it a running away, Spartan calls it tactics. After the retreat and a epic leap of 15 feet Spartan turns and readies his spear for the incoming attack.

    Correction. that should be a 75 foot jump, as its 15 feet per suxx. But I don't know how bit the arena is, so its really up to you Selena . So you tell me how things went.

    Clarifications


    Spartan's leap takes him 75 feet from the center of the ring to nearly the edge of the stands. He lands in a defensive crouch just in time to see his opponent leap into the air. Bastidors, however, only makes a fraction of the distance that Spartan attained in his leap.

    Clearly enraged the monstrous combatant hits the ground on all fours and begins literally tearing up the ground between the two of them. In the space of one or two breaths Bastidors covers just over half of the remaining distance.

    Spartan sees Bastidor pursue him. Time is the enemy here. Does he have the time necessary to draw a javelin and throw it at the beast, and have his spear ready if it keeps coming. He doesn't know. So instead he readies himself. He will strike when it comes into range.

    Bastidors continues his momentous run into a charge, raising his long, muscled arms over his head as he bears down on Spartan. Summer's Sovreign, however, has the training and discipline needed to see him through the charge.

    Spartan, King of Summer, Warrior in the Lineage of a king, waits. Just waits. There are milliseconds that seem like hours. There are seconds that seem like days. The Sun in the sky shone down and the one who sits on the Iron Throne holds ready. The point of his spear unwavering. Then it comes. The moment that Bastidor gets into range the Hoplite, a child once taken from his crib, lets out a mighty roar. A unintellidgable scream of wrath and anger. Pouring all of his soul, all of the monster within him, all of his hate, wrath and anger focused through him down his spear. His spear, a conductor for all of his emotion, delivers one, mighty strike. A crack of thunder blasts from the heavenly spear.

    Bastidors let's out a horrible cry as it charges toward what it clearly expects to be a killing blow. And it gets what it expects, only not in the right order. At the last moment there is a peal of thunder and for the barest second Bastidors stops dead in its tracks. There is an audible gasp from the stands as thousands of hobs react as one....in surprise and bloody anticipation. Then the mighty brute falls, its momentum wrenching at the spear in Spartan's hand, now lodged to the hilt in Bastidor's chest. As the creature hits the sandy floor and its life's blood begins to pour out the stand erupt in cheers and shouts. Some are in joy and other in outrage, but the fight is clearly over.

    Up where the Emperor would normally watch from his box, there is nothing but an empty chair. But then again, who in this pit needs to see if they should strike to kill or show mercy? There is only one answer at the Fleshmarket. The pitmaster gives Spartan a nod.
