Half stands and bows as best he can. "I am known as Half Souled." His voice is respectful and formal. "It is a great honor to meet you and to be allowed to be considered to join your pack." His eyes stay locked to the ground.

It nods, taking the Ithaeur in for all his politeness. Finally, he looks to Emily. <<You may proceed.>> With barely a seconds hesitation, she thrusts the struggling rabbit under the water, its thrashing going about with just a hint of a predatory smile across Emily's features. Before long, the struggling ceases, and the water lays still and motionless. Emily pulls her hand up out of the water, free of the rabbit.
<<Good. You now have another directive from friends of our choir, the inhabits of the sewer descant. They have been complaining of a growing problem in your sewers, one your former Alpha let grow unchecked. A verge has been growing, reigned unchecked. Control this, and you will finally have my full blessing, and cooperation.>>
Matt watches the creature's struggle out of the corner of his eye, his mouth moving in an almost silent thanks to the spirit of the prey for its sacrifice. It might have been fated but its death would not be in vain as its body would give back to the River, reinforcing the life of the small ecosystem. The Elodoth understands what is happening and bows his head slightly in respect for the prey, which might have been small but had given the pack a worthy hunt with its quickness.
When the totem speaks and informs the pack of the threat in the sewers, both of his hands constrict into fists and a slight scowl appears on his face caused by the thought of what was running around under their territory.
<<It will be done.>>
He turns his head to the rest of the Pack, looking first at Emily and then Half. A hint of a smile forms on his youthful face, a gesture that touches the scar on his cheek.
"Alright then, let's get on this."
Half grins at him in the way wolfs do and bows once more to the spirit. He then turns to follow his new alpha. He wanted to run, to howl, but he keeps quiet and respectful . Still his tail wags and he trots rather than walks. He could have a chance, he thought, a chance to settle and move forward. Too long had he been in the past, too often had he turned behind him. Mabye now he could find his place and move forward.
Emily smiles, moving out of the water and trotting behind the rest of the pack.
