The thing in the dumpster looks up at the mages peering in through the opened side panel. It's bloodshot eyes widen in terror as it's tailvein flies up. The tip points out towards the assembled women, a strange looking orifice that opens to circles of chipped, jagged, and yellow teeth going down the bright red throat of this creature. As it opens the flaps begin convulsing, first in short rapid expansions and then one long one to deflate. As it deflates, a rasping wheeze escapes the quivering stalkthroat of the aberration.
The effects are immediately evident.
Though nothing visibly changed as it finished it's twisted breathe, the mages could feel it's effects in their bodies. They enervation was immediate as their clothes and equipment weighs on them like lead. Muscles cramp and feel atrophied as even basic movements feel almost impossibly difficult. The mages are not visibly enervated, though the feeling of fatigue is immense and growing. What might grab attention though it the carefully manicured trees and grass that are now sagging towards the earth.
Anyone now standing within 20 yards of the dumpster is now within the area of an Anomoly! All rolls involving physical attributes and skills take a -2 penalty, and speed is now halved. plants and things in the area are likewise affected, though their defects might not be immediately obvious in a 3 second combat round.
