Crashing a party

[Bleeds Well]

The tenants of Purity rage within Bleed Well as he storms out after Tiny. Twice now he's visited the lair of the offending pack. A pack that dares claim territory in Sacramento.He blames them for Brigit leaving. He blames them for Chris' disappearance. He doesn't want to kill them, Imru Nu Fir Imru, but he sure as hell wants to make sure they leave Sacramento and never come back.

His muscles tense as the outside air hits him. Once again under Luna's light Bleeds Well preternatural awareness returns to him, no danger can surprise him when he walks in Mother's light. He turns back towards the club eyeing it with disgust as he watches over the pack, Alpha has spoken and so Bleeds Well stands down. Hector, who is betraying the Oath of his Own Tribe by allowing this blight persist, but the Low Honor the High, so he says nothing. Not now.

"Which way?" he growls to Tiny, before giving the man a glance, protecting Bastion as their Elodoth follows the trail.

[Kelreth]

Inside of the club the crowd shifts as something else pushes on it aside from the smashing of a hammer. From people starting to move Bird can tell some the something is coming from the back of the club though whatever it is it is human sized as nothing looms over the crowd.

Outside of the club the smell of Anshenga fades and instead Hector can smell traces of Chris's bleed and something burnt. It's clear that the trail needs north away from the club and away from the pack's territory.

[Bird]

Bird slips out the door shortly after Bleeds Well. He's not sure if the pack was aware of his presence, but they will be now.

He shuts the door behind him carefully and positions himself on the hinge side, flat against the wall. When the door opens, it will hide him from whatever is coming, just long enough to give him an edge.

Eyes seek out Hector, addressing the Alpha in a low voice, almost a hiss: "Something coming from the back of the club, pushing through the crowd. Following him," eyes cut to Bleeds Well and then back to Hector. "Man sized."

Bird itches to grow, to assume the Dalu form in preparation for whatever's coming. He looks around the area for any witnesses or threats before changing his shape.

[Tiny]

Tiny looks to make sure that he's followed, and then keeps going after the scent. Its annoying, had they come around the back they wound have found this, but nice to remind the Pure that their den wasn't very secure.

[Hector]

Hector's eyes are burning into the back of Oath Bastion's head; and the Alpha really hopes he is ins't offending the Elodoth with his intense presence as he follows purposefully behind. His face is darkening: eyes growing wider and his mouth twisting into an ever tighter line. He has to shake one hand vigorously to burn off the tension building in his muscles...

... As the scent of Chris grows stronger...

... And he realises his strategic blunder.

The Anshega probably didn't have Chris. Probably had nothing to do with his disappearance. And he'd just led Clarion Call right through their den.

Exhale. Adapt.

"Oath's Bastion has the scent. Chris came out here. Injured? A fight?"

But like a true Storm Lord, Tiny was already marching away, following the scent.

Hector made to follow but was stopped short by Bird hissed warning. The Alpha stops mid-stride. His fingers flex. His eyes snap to their widest extent, filled with a sudden surge of wrath.

"Thanks, Bird. Everyone keep up with Oath's Bastion. Be prepared."

His head jerks, nodding after the Elodoth.

The Alpha doesn't move... Yet.

[Emily Makerith]

Emily tugs the hood further over her face, eyes glancing from Tiny to Hector from under the shadow. "Look out for the Eagle," she mutters to the two of them. Hopefully they'd get what she meant.

Then the Crescent takes off after Tiny. If something was coming, Hector wanted to handle the rear, which mean an old hand needed to be somewhere watching the front.

Did... did I just think of myself as an old hand? Urghhhh..... Ewwwww..... Gonna need Mable to rub my ego down after this one. Yuck.

[Bleeds Well]

"The longer we allow their residence unchallenged the harder they will be to evict," Bleeds Well responds in an eerily, calm voice. A reckoning must occur soon, one way or the other.

The large hammer spins in his hand, head rotating in place, once, twice, three times before Bleeds Well turns away form the door and jogs after the Elodoth.

[Kelreth]

As words are exchanged the exit door to the club remains closed. Though only to sight, anyone close to the door can still feel the bass as it takes on the pace of a racing heart.

The trail in front of Tiny smells like it will go far, away from the club and the Anshega who call it their own. To the north away from the Call's territory and to places frequented by humans but possibly not by Urdaga for some time.

In the distance to the north a howl rings out. Of Challenge and Amusement. It is an unfamiliar howl to everyone in the pack.

Except for Bleeds Well...it sounds familiar from Home...

[Bird]

When no one comes through the door after him, Bird detaches from the wall. Resisting his urge to assume the Dalu form, he remains in his man-skin. Follows after Tiny and the rest of the pack.

In bringing up the rear, he tries to keep to the shadows, to avoid notice by any who may be watching.

Tiny stops at the challenging howl, and looks back at the pack. "North? Who is that?" That was not part of the intro 101 to Sacramento.
